Orange juice, frozen peaches, peach yogurt and a bit of honey blend to peach-orange smoothie perfection in this recipe. It is oh-so-refreshing in the summer!

My smoothie-making methodology usually consists of throwing a bunch of smoothie-appropriate stuff in the blender and calling it good.

And it usually is pretty good (except for the time I got the hankering to put in peanut butter, banana, oatmeal and spinach for a protein/vitamin boost…bad, so very bad).

I have to admit, I’ve scoffed in the past at smoothie recipes. I mean, do you really need a recipe for ingredients that just get all smashed and jumbled together anyhow? However, when I spied this smoothie recipe on Pinterest, I decided to give it a go and let me tell you, it puts my thrown-together concoctions to shame.

It’s tasty, my friends, tasty. Basic in ingredients, orange juice, frozen peaches, peach yogurt and a bit of honey blend to perfection, but what puts it over the top is the slight hint of nutmeg that just kind of makes you go, “hmmmmm, I love that!”

I’m recommitted to exploring the world of smoothie recipes thanks to this absolutely delightful and refreshing variation. If you have a favorite smoothie recipe, don’t hold out on me – share, pretty please!
